Canton Fair

The China Import and Export Fair (commonly known as the Canton Fair) is one of the biggest events on the global trade calendar. Since its first edition in 1957 in Guangzhou, China, the biennial show has grown into a huge platform for import and export across various industries, showcasing products from numerous industries each spring and autumn.

CANTON FAIR is China’s comprehensive international trade event with the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete range of goods, the largest number of merchants attending, and the best transaction results. It is jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, China Foreign Trade Center, import and export chambers of commerce/associations, and trading groups. Every spring and autumn activities are hosted by these units in Guangzhou, and the China Foreign Trade Center is responsible for planning. The Canton Fair consists of 48 trading groups, with tens of thousands of foreign trade companies, manufacturing companies, scientific research institutes, foreign-invested/wholly owned enterprises, and private enterprises with good credit standing and strong strength participating in the exhibition.
